Success within the first 12 month ## Description A Senior Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the platforms, tooling, and infrastructure that enable product and delivery teams to build, deploy, and operate software reliably and efficiently. They define and champion good practice through technical standards, evolving conventions, and shared tools and platforms that remove friction and empower teams to move faster and more safely. A key aspect of Senior Platform Engineering is long-term thinking: designing systems that remain resilient, scalable, and maintainable as time passes. Balancing immediate delivery needs with future sustainability ensures the continued success of the individual, the team, and the organisation. A member of the Platform Team builds internal products and automation to support cross functionally.
