## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.

 * AWS certification at Practitioner or Associate level, with experience designing and deploying cloud solutions.

 * Experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems in large corporate environments.

 * Strong understanding of IPv4 networking, including subnetting and routing.

 * Experience automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.

Preferred

 * Experience working across high-classification systems or in national security environments.

 * Exposure to DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tooling.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be a UK national .

You must be able to obtain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security clearance .

## Description

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer , you will play a key role within our Infrastructure Team, supporting customers on their journey to refactor, replatform and rehost mission-critical systems into AWS. You will enable transformation through Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices, improving system reliability, reducing cost and enhancing agility.

You'll work with a wide range of technologies and environments, supporting national security missions and contributing to cutting-edge cloud engineering at scale.

Role Responsibilities

 * Design, build and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud systems.

 * Administer Linux and Windows-based environments.

 * Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking across cloud and hybrid systems.

 * Automate deployment, operation and maintenance tasks using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.

 * Continuously expand your own skills, maintaining and enhancing relevant certifications.
