## About the Role

* Operating Systems: Deep hands-on experience with Linux administration and systems architecture.
 * Development & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting for infrastructure automation and tooling.
 * Version Control: Extensive experience managing enterprise codebases with Git and Perforce (P4).
 * CI/CD: Proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining deployment pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
 * Storage Systems: Solid understanding of network storage principles, particularly NFS mount configurations and troubleshooting.

Preferred / "Nice to Have" Experience

 * Hands-on exposure to distributed systems, compute farms, or workload managers such as LSF (IBM Spectrum), Grid Engine, or Slurm.

## Description

* Design, automate, and maintain robust CI/CD build infrastructure utilizing Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
 * Develop comprehensive Python scripts and automation tooling to streamline engineering workflows and reduce manual overhead.
 * Administer, tune, and troubleshoot Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance across the engineering compute estate.
 * Manage and optimize large-scale source control repositories using both Git and Perforce (P4).
 * Configure and resolve bottlenecks within Network Storage / NFS environments supporting heavy, data-intensive compute workloads.
