One (1) year of related work experience can be substituted for one (1) year of education. For example, a candidate with a high school diploma, GED or state recognized equivalent and six (6) years of related work experience can be eligible to apply. Preferred Qualifications * Working knowledge of CSS, HTML5, GIT,SQL, PHP, XML. * Project-driven and experience working collaboratively on development teams. * Two (2) years of experience developing, maintaining, and administering content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress, SharePoint, or established CMS, including hands-on work with custom functionality, workflow management, system updates, and long-term platform support. * Experience modifying, extending, or customizing contributed Drupal modules and WordPress plugins to meet project requirements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) * Strong analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills. * Ability to solve problems quickly and thoroughly. * Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in understandable terms. * Must be a team player that is flexible, friendly, congenial and enthusiastic. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Leadership skills that can energize multi-disciplined work teams to respond to University needs. * Ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross functional environment. * Skilled in working in Linux / Unix environments with working knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. * Knowledge of analysis and design; development in a client/server environment, web technologies (i.e. HTML, PHP, JavaScript etc.), and web-based application tool set. ## Description Responsible for the design, development, layout and coding at the University level, including all college and department websites assigned. Participates in CSU web and e-initiative projects as a mechanism to inform, recruit, market and educate customers consistent with CSU and technology strategies. Provides guidance and expertise including technical and graphical aspects. Interacts professionally with internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
