## About the Role

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a comparable field
 * 10+ years of experience in mechanical product development
 * Experience developing complex electromechanical systems
 * Strong expertise in mechanical design, structural analysis, and engineering documentation
 * Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, castings, injection molding, and assembly processes
 * Proficiency in SolidWorks; experience with SolidWorks PDM is highly desirable
 * Familiarity with DFM/DFA methodologies
 * Experience working in robotics, automation, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries

Nice to Have

 * Experience with mobile robotic or service robotic systems
 * Knowledge of Creo/Windchill
 * Prior technical leadership or project ownership experience

## Description

* Lead mechanical design projects for MiPA and its subsystems
 * Develop robust mechanical architectures and production-ready designs
 * Create and maintain CAD models, technical drawings, product structures, and bills of materials
 * Perform structural, stability, durability, and tolerance analyses
 * Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) throughout the product development process
 * Define and maintain engineering design standards and documentation quality
 * Coordinate development activities across mechanical, electronics, software, manufacturing, and sourcing teams
 * Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and product industrialization
 * Manage engineering changes, revisions, and configuration control processes
 * Contribute to technical decision-making, risk assessments, and design reviews
