## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering and 4 to 8 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree and 2 to 6 years. Additional experience may be substituted/considered/accepted in lieu of degree.

 * Ability to travel 75-100%.
\n

 * Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. OR a U.S. Permanent /Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with no breaks).
\n

 * Proficiency in MS Office Suites.
\n, * 2+ years of experience working with Telco systems performing Network Troubleshooting.
\n

 * Proficient working with AutoCAD or similar tools.
\n

 * Knowledge of Electric Code (NEC), Fire Protection Assoc (NFPA) standards, Airspace System Equipment Tower.
\n

 * Knowledge of OSHA and general construction and electrical safety standards.
\n

 * Knowledge of NAS facilities such as ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG.

The Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Technician to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area - Engineering Services Group located in Washington, DC., The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS).
