## About the Role

Education / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
 * Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.

Experience:

 * Experience in network/cloud/virtual environment engineering or a related role.
 * Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
 * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position.

## Description

The Network Engineering Team plays a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the client environment. This individual will be responsible for one or more of the following:

 * Performing upgrades and performing routine network operations and maintenance (O&M).
 * Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network.
 * Complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems
 * Network operating and maintenance concepts and methods used to troubleshoot network problems for LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP
 * Cisco IOS, including switching, routing, segment routing and other technologies
 * Radio Frequency (RF) and spectrum engineering
 * Optical networking technology and engineering
 * Satellite communications engineering
