## About the Role

* Associate degree, vocational/technical training in Information Technology, or related education preferred.
 * Candidates without a degree or technical training must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of IT help desk/service desk experience.
 * Experience supporting computers, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and related equipment.
 * CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
 * Knowledge of basic networking, Active Directory, and user account management.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
 * Excellent customer service and communication skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize work effectively.
 * Must have a valid Kansas driver's license and meet applicable driving/insurance requirements.

## Description

* Respond to and resolve help desk requests and technical support issues.
 * Provide in-person and remote assistance to users experiencing hardware, software, or connectivity problems.
 * Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
 * Install and support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, web browsers, and other desktop applications.
 * Assist with user accounts and basic Active Directory functions.
 * Maintain equipment and asset records within the organization's IT service system.
 * Document issues, solutions, and service requests accurately.
 * Work with other IT professionals and support teams to resolve more complex technical issues.
 * Participate in team meetings, incident response, and other IT support activities.
 * Perform other duties as assigned.
