Job Description: * We are seeking an engineer with handson Oracle Exadata platform expertise combined with strong Oracle client/applicationside experience to support largescale database migrations and ongoing production operations. * Core platform skills. * Deep experience with Oracle Exadata (onprem or OCI / Database@Azure), including architecture, performance characteristics, HA/DR concepts, and operational support. * Strong Oracle Database administration skills (11g/12c/19c ), including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, patching, backup/recovery, and performance tuning. * Experience executing and supporting Oracle database migrations from VMbased or traditional environments to Exadata, including cutover planning and validation. * Client / applicationside expertise. * Strong understanding of Oracle client connectivity, including JDBC/ODP.NET, OCI clients, TNS, DNSbased redirection, and connection string behavior. * Ability to support application teams during migrations, including connectivity validation, performance verification, and postmigration troubleshooting. * Experience working with enterprise applications (e.g., Pega, portal, middleware platforms) that depend on Oracle databases. * Operational and collaboration skills. * Ability to partner closely with DBA, infrastructure, and application teams during premigration prep, migration events, and postcutover support. * Experience supporting production migrations, including change management, outage coordination, and escalation handling. * Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and validation in enterprise environments (e.g., performance baselining, postmigration checks).
