## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity and 12 years of relevant experience; Masters degree and 10 years. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of the degree.
 * Minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity engineering and/or technical program management experience.
 * Minimum of 2 years of technical leadership experience.
 * One or more certifications:
 + CISSP, CCSP, CCNA, CIS-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GIAC, SSCP, or Security+
 * Hands-on experience with:
 + Zero Trust, Cloud, DevSecOps, SIEM, SOAR, NDR, PKI/PQC, AI/GenAI, and Mobile Security
 * U.S. Citizenship required.
 * Active Secret security clearance required.

Preferred:

 * 10-12+ years of cybersecurity engineering and/or technical program management experience.

## Description

The Cybersecurity Engineer supports a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) by engineering, integrating, and sustaining security architectures and tools that enable continuous monitoring, detection, and response.

 * This role provides senior technical expertise to ensure SOC capabilities remain resilient, scalable, and aligned with modern threat environments.

You Will:

 * Engineer and sustain security capabilities supporting 24x7 SOC monitoring, detection, and response.
 * Design and implement Zero Trust controls across enterprise, cloud, mobile, and hybrid environments.
 * Integrate and optimize SIEM, SOAR, and NDR platforms to improve detection and response effectiveness.
 * Support secure cloud, DevSecOps, and CI/CD architectures and automation.
 * Engineer cryptographic and identity solutions, including PKI and post-quantum cryptography (PQC).
 * Support security engineering for AI/GenAI-enabled systems.
 * Provide Tier III engineering support and technical leadership during complex SOC incidents.
 * Mentor engineers and support continuous SOC capability improvement.
