Owning a problem does not scare you but empowers you to take 100% ownership., * Extensive experience programming in Core Java developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications applying Object Oriented Design principles. * Experience working in the Capital Markets domain. * Experience with Agile software development processes with a strong emphasis on test driven development. * Understanding of Java internals such as class loading and memory management. * Demonstrated capacity to build sophisticated tooling for development and production team use. * Good to have (Bonus) + Experience re-engineering large monolithic applications to microservices. + Experience re-engineering complex franchise critical applications to new platforms. + Full-stack development experience (designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications applying Object Oriented Design principles) + Experience with deployment/packaging solutions such as Dockers/Kubernetes, OpenShift + Ability to evaluate design trade-offs and document choices effectively, * Graduate in a STEM discipline or experience performing in a similar role., * Excellent oral and written English. * Strong leadership * Ability to collaborate effectively in a large global team and influence key architectural decision. * Ability to work well under pressure. ## Description The RWA / Capital Technology Team is responsible for delivering RWA / Capital related solutions to Citi's Risk & Finance organization which manages Citi's exposure to Financial Institutions, governments and corporates that trade with Citi. This team Engineers, builds and maintains software used to compute metrics that help mitigate Citi's exposure to counterparty default & help meet regulations like BASEL & CCAR., * Deliver advanced technology projects as an individual contributor providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design, development, to testing and deployment. Opportunities available to expand responsibilities to a team leadership position based on leadership potential and performance. * Provide technical leadership on projects implemented by the wider team of Software Engineers/Analyst Developers using advanced knowledge of application development.
