These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: * Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter., * Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. + OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. + OR equivalent experience. #CAPIDC ## Description * AI-native development: Use AI tools across the SDLC in a disciplined way, and own the quality of AI-generated changes by reviewing everything before it ships. * Write production-quality code: Build extensible, maintainable, low-defect features with minimal supervision, applying coding patterns, security best practices, and reuse where appropriate. * Raise the bar in code review: Review peers' code and tests for coverage, standards, security risks, and compliance - giving timely, coaching-oriented feedback. * Contribute to design and architecture: Explore and evaluate design options, help author design documents, identify cross-team dependencies, and ensure designs meet performance, scalability, resiliency, and cost goals. * Own test strategy and quality: Create test plans that prevent regressions, cover security invariants and negative cases, close coverage gaps, and leverage AI for test automation. * Drive engineering excellence and secure deployment: Automate build and deployment toward zero-touch, follow safe deployment and rollback practices, and run experiments with feature flags to measure impact. * Support the live site: Serve on-call as a DRI, mitigate incidents within SLA using least-privilege access, run retrospectives with repair actions, and improve telemetry, TSGs, and monitoring. ## Related Videos - [Are Code Reviews Worth It?
