You'll help build and scale the backend infrastructure and services that power Fubo's advertising platform - no prior ad-tech experience required, we'll ramp you up on the domain. As an engineer on this team, you'll work on business-critical distributed systems and data problems: services that interface with ad-decisioning systems, video player vendors, ad routers, and server-side ad insertion partners. You'll help increase the reliability and observability of this infrastructure and build tooling that lets our Advertising Operations and Sales teams move fast in a complex ecosystem. Over time, you'll become one of the team's go-to experts on our ad platform and the broader ad-tech landscape - but you don't need that background to start. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving backend, distributed-systems, and data engineering problems, and wants exposure to a fast-moving, high-scale domain. What You'll Do: * Build and support our ads engineering infrastructure and services * Drive continuous improvements to the reliability, performance, accuracy, and security of services * Solve distributed systems engineering and data problems, utilizing the best tools and technologies * Build shared libraries, tools, or frameworks that improve engineering solutions * Implement unit and integrations tests to maintain confidence in the platform's stability * Identify and execute on opportunities to develop software to help increase efficiency, visibility, and performance of our ad technology * Extract and aggregate data from a variety of sources into data warehouses * Leverage AI tools across the development lifecycle - coding, testing, debugging, and documentation - to move faster without lowering our quality bar ## Related Videos - [Our journey with Spring Boot in a microservice architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/511-our-journey-with-spring-boot-in-a-microservice-architecture) - [Docker Compose: Rediscovered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1978-docker-compose-rediscovered) - [Go with the Flow: Stop the Leaks Before Your Memory's a Waterfall!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100073-go-with-the-flow-stop-the-leaks-before-your-memory-s-a-waterfall) - [Software Engineering Social Connection: Yubo’s lean approach to scaling an 80M-user infrastructure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1583-software-engineering-social-connection-yubo-s-lean-approach-to-scaling-an-80m-user-infrastructure) - [Docker build without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100114-docker-build-without-docker) - [Alibaba Big Data and Machine Learning Technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/37-alibaba-big-data-and-machine-learning-technology) ## Related Articles - [How Much FAANG Companies Actually Pay Software Engineers in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/230-how-much-faang-companies-actually-pay-software-engineers-in-2025) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 122 - Cracks in the polyfill](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/457-dev-digest-122-cracks-in-the-polyfill)
