An additional two years of directly relevant software development experience may substitute for the degree. * 3 or more years of professional software development experience. The contract's labor category definition describes this level as typically requiring 2 to 4 years of experience. * Hands-on development experience in Java, including work with a modern Java Development Kit and an enterprise Java framework. * Experience developing and consuming RESTful application programming interfaces. * Experience writing and executing unit and integration tests and remediating defects through a formal defect tracking process. * Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL or PL/SQL. * Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk (Tier 2) Public Trust background investigation and a government PIV credential. Required Skills & Certifications: * Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Jakarta EE. * Front-end development experience with Angular, PrimeFaces, or PrimeNG. * Experience with Apache Kafka, Apache Solr, or Apache PDFBox. * Prior federal software development experience under a formal lifecycle governance process. * Familiarity with Appian or another low-code business process management platform.
