## About the Role

* Minimum 6 years related experience in Oracle database administration
 * Bachelor's degree or 4 additional related years experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
 * Must have 5 years combined experience in any of these areas: Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c * AWS * SQL querying and tuning
 * Experience with design and implementation of database structures
 * Writing build scripts, DDL and DML experience
 * Understanding of indexing, partitioning, materialized views and other performance enhancing structures
 * Extensive experience in database backup & restoration

Bonus points if:

 * Experience in Agile methodology
 * Development using PL/SQL including store procedures, packages and external scripting
 * Oracle Cloud Infrastructure database, Exadata & Paas experience

## Description

You are an administrator, a developer, and a tester of all things DATABASE! You can swiftly perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. You enjoy maintaining database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance., Perform database tuning to maximize application performance, reliability and scalability. Monitor Database jobs, storage, performance. Development experience in key database languages (SQL, Python, etc.) . Design and build new solutions for database applications. Design and architect database schemas from user and system requirements
