## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field
 * 4+ years in data analysis, security operations, or infrastructure support
 * Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, particularly Splunk
 * Proficiency with data pipelines and log routing tools like Cribl
 * Familiarity with IT service management platforms such as ServiceNow
 * Experience supporting virtualized and cloud environments (VMware, AWS)
 * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights, * Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified, CISSP) are a plus but not mandatory
 * Experience with forensic analysis and red teaming resources
 * Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
 * Experience with media wiki documentation and incident tracking tools
 * Familiarity with Splunk in cloud environments like AWS

## Description

Blu Omega is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support a federal program focused on cybersecurity operations. This role operates within a fully remote environment and is responsible for security monitoring, SIEM operations, security analytics, and infrastructure visibility. The position requires experience supporting cybersecurity support activities within a mission-driven environment., * Analyze cybersecurity and operational data to identify trends, risks, and anomalies

 * Support Splunk SIEM administration, dashboards, reporting, and investigations
 * Manage and optimize Cribl log routing and data pipeline operations
 * Support continuous threat monitoring and incident response activities
 * Support AWS and VMware environments from a security operations perspective
 * Develop security metrics, reporting, and operational insights for stakeholders
