Our goal is to ensure design teams have reliable, up-to-date insight into cost, quality and supply chain risk early in the design process, so that informed decisions can be made from day one. At the same time, we are extending Tesla's system involvement beyond direct suppliers, building visibility and influence across multiple layers of the sub-tier supply chain to create a more resilient and secure ecosystem. To solve problems at this scale, we actively explore advanced technologies, including AI, not as an end in itself, but as a tool to fundamentally rethink how a global enterprise designs and operates its supply chain. What You'll Do * Work closely with design, product and supply chain partners to understand problems holistically and contribute to shared outcomes * Design and develop modules with a clear understanding of goals, tradeoffs and user impact-not just implementation details * Apply skills not only in software engineering, but also business judgement and system integration to increase overall impact * Take initiative to suggest thoughtful improvements while reliably delivering assigned work * Learn how adjacent teams operate and help connect requirements, constraints and solutions across functions * Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code that follows best practices and supports long-term scalability ## Related Videos - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [Build and Deploy a Fullstack App with Open Source Tooling](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/775-build-and-deploy-a-fullstack-app-with-open-source-tooling) - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Watch Tests Go Brrrr! : Getting Started with Cypress in ReactJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/282-watch-tests-go-brrrr-getting-started-with-cypress-in-reactjs) - [Optimizing Discovery: PostgreSQL's Role in Transforming GetYourGuide's Search](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1647-optimizing-discovery-postgresql-s-role-in-transforming-getyourguide-s-search) - [Tracking vehicles at scale](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1999-tracking-vehicles-at-scale) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [How software is steering vehicle technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/515-how-software-is-steering-vehicle-technology) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [The Best X (Twitter) Accounts for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/294-the-best-x-twitter-accounts-for-developers) - [What’s the Difference Between Frontend and Backend Development?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/240-what-s-the-difference-between-frontend-and-backend-development) - [Dev Digest 139 - Soft and hard queries](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/487-dev-digest-139-soft-and-hard-queries)
