Experience deploying, troubleshooting, administering and using Linux (Cent, RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu, etc.) - Experience deploying, troubleshooting, administering and using Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 or greater. - Experience managing, troubleshooting and administering VMware 5.5+ (vCenter/vSphere). - Proficient at scripting in at least one of the following: bash, sh, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, etc. - Experience using management tools such as SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Splunk, etc - Knowledge of security policies and general vulnerabilities management. - Expert infrastructure/system/application troubleshooting abilities. - 5+ years of continuous hands-on experience in systems administration with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. -Exceptionally proficient with Microsoft Office products -Excellent organizational skills with an immense attention for detail -Proven verbal and written communication skills -Self-driven, able to multitask and work in a fast paced team oriented environment -Must be able to achieve and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance DESIRE -Experience with relation database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) including data manipulation and definition. -Experience in the implementation and configuration of a Building Management Systems (BMS) -Previous operating CMMS/EAM software for asset management and/or scheduling - Microsoft and/or Red Hat certifications highly desired., Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. - Is comfortable working both individually and as part of a team. - Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, executive leadership, senior management, users, vendors and subcontractor personnel. - Has an ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions. - Is able to drive things forward regardless of personal interest in the task. - Has the ability to quickly self-learn new products. - Has a passion for technology and enjoys a challenge ## Description Assist with the management of Building Management Systems (BMS) IT support to meet service level agreements - Analyze BMS server, storage, and network performance and recommend improvements - Resolve complex system issues for BMS infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, and field devices - Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and technical specialists - Analyze and modify preventive maintenance checklists for system changes - Troubleshoot system performance issues and implement corrective actions - Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, database size and integrity checks - Organize and prepare detailed documentation of system performance, including service request records and analysis - Perform desktop and server operating system set-up, imaging software loads, and antivirus updates -
