Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. * Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products (such as Outlook, Word, Teams, OneNote). * Licensure or certification in the state of Iowa, or equivalent for clinical profession. Desired Qualifications: * Clinical practice experience at an academic medical center * Bachelor's level preparation or working towards Bachelor's within clinical specialty * Experience using Epic in an ambulatory or hospital setting. * Experience translating customer requirements into system design specifications. * Ability to assess learning needs and match to the most effective education methods. * Previous experience providing 24x7 on-call support. The Informatics Analyst demonstrates a level of policy and clinical knowledge, sound clinical judgment, technical competency with clinical information system applications and workflows, and demonstrates professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills. This position will support all University of Iowa Health Care based departments and staff. This position is eligible for hybrid work within the state of Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Position Responsibilities: * Support of the clinical community in the adoption and meaningful use of electronic health records. * Support system development and testing. Provide knowledge to translate clinical requirements into system design, workflow customization, data collection and testing.
