Candidates must be willing to travel to CONUS, and OCONUS sites up to three weeks at a time. Total travel is approximately 50-75%., * 6+ years of experience performing testing and/or integration of audio visual (A/V) equipment * Ability to follow basic flow diagrams * Ability to work in a team environment * Good verbal and written communications abilities * Experience using MS Office products * Must be able to lift items up to National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) limits * Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for extended periods of time * Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding * Must be able to work in high places, as well as small, cramped, or confined spaces * Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Must maintain a valid passport Desired Qualifications * J-STD Certification(s) * Experience with testing fiber and/or copper * AV certifications a plus Education A high school diploma or GED Clearance All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects. ## Description The MIL Corporation seeks a CCoE Telecommunications Engineering Technician III (Telecommunications Engineering Tech, III) to support a Federal Government client at our Ft. Gordon, Georgia location. The Telecommunications Tech will provide on-site support of Information Technology (IT) and Audio-Visual (A/V) installations within the CCoE Transformation program at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. This position currently requires an onsite schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.
