Preferred Skills: * IAAP CPACC, WAS, CPWA, Trusted Tester, or comparable accessibility certification. * Knowledge of procurement, risk assessment, and vendor management processes. * Experience participating in technology procurement, vendor evaluation, Vendor Risk Assessment (VRA), or similar review processes. * Experience evaluating accessibility of enterprise technology solutions in higher education, government, healthcare, or other complex organizations. * Experience evaluating accessibility of content management systems, learning management systems, or research and educational technology platforms. * Experience with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, and related accessibility tools. * Familiarity supporting workplace accommodations and assistive technology implementations. ## Description Under the general direction of the Digital Accessibility Program Manager, serves as UC ANR's senior accessibility analyst for technology assessments, vendor reviews, and evaluation of enterprise systems. Provides advanced accessibility expertise in support of software acquisitions, web applications, digital platforms, and technology implementations. Leads accessibility review activities associated with procurement and Vendor Risk Assessment (VRA) processes and supports integration of digital accessibility requirements into technology planning, acquisition, implementation, and remediation efforts., 35% Accessibility Assessment & Testing * Conduct accessibility evaluations of websites, applications, software, digital tools, and third-party technology solutions. * Evaluate accessibility conformance of complex websites, applications, software, digital tools, and technology solutions with WCAG 2.1 AA, ADA Title II, Section 504, Section 508, and applicable University policies. * Perform testing using assistive technologies including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and speech recognition software. * Develop highly technical specifications and maintain accessibility testing methodologies, procedures, and documentation standards. * Validate vendor remediation efforts and accessibility improvements. 25% Technology Accessibility Review & Procurement * Provide accessibility expertise in support Vendor Risk Assessment (VRA) and technology procurement activities, leading accessibility reviews and providing recommendations regarding accessibility risk. * Review and evaluate Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs), Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs), vendor remediation plans, and other accessibility documentation. * Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing of vendor products and technology solutions. * Advanced assessment of accessibility risks and review mitigation plans, accessibility exceptions, and risk acceptance requests. * Develop and recommend highly technical accessibility requirements and accessibility-related procurement language for procurements, RFPs, vendor engagements, and purchasing documentation. * Partner with Procurement, IT, Security, Legal, Human Resources, and business units to support accessible technology acquisition and implementation. * Initiate & develop accessibility review procedures, templates, and evaluation criteria. * Provide backup support for employee accommodation requests. 15% Program Support & Consultation * Develop highly complex accessibility procedures and operational guidance. * Support implementation of Digital Accessibility Program processes and standards. * Provide expert consultation to technology stakeholders, project teams, managers, and University leadership. * Track and report accessibility metrics and program outcomes. 15% Training & Organizational Support * Develop and deliver advanced accessibility training for technology teams, content creators, project teams, and other stakeholders. * Provide consultation on accessible technology implementation. * Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to student employees, accessibility analysts, and project teams. 10% Remediation & Continuous Improvement * Assist with accessibility remediation planning and implementation. * Monitor emerging accessibility standards, regulatory developments, and industry best practices. * Recommend improvements to accessibility review processes, testing methodologies, and program operations., * Must possess valid California Driver's License to drive a County or University vehicle. Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed, proof of liability damage insurance on vehicle used is required. Reimbursement of job-related travel will be reimbursed according to University policies. * The University reserves the right to make employment contingent upon successful completion of the background check.
