Must have experience with building and maintaining highly effective relationships with team members and multiple client stakeholders across multiple projects. Additional responsibilities: Install, patch, and upgrade applications; Advanced customization of configurations & feature administration; Drives system documentation standards and process compliance; Provides advice and training to end-users; Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned; Troubleshoot and resolve any reported problems; Provide application performance tuning; Enable best practices using listed tools. Here's what you need: * US Citizenship required * Bachelor's degree required along with 10+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a scalable production environment (Including: Experience with GIT source code repositories and branching strategies such as GITflow; Practical Linux based systems administration skills and scripting experience; Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Bash, and Groovy; Understanding Linux / Docker containers operation and authoring; Working knowledge of J2EE, JAVA, javascript, or python frameworks and design patterns. * 4 years of experience leading software development teams and utilizing Agile development methodologies and tools (i.e. Kanban, Jira) * 4 years of experience working with containers and container environments such as Docker or Kubernetes. * Experience leading/mentoring junior team members, vetting solutions, and driving projects to completion. * Experience administering the Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, and Gitlab (Sonarqube, Nexus, Artifactory applications desired) Bonus points if you have: * Agile Certification * Experience with Distributed Service Standards (SOAP, REST, EJB) * Experience with supporting transition of legacy applications to 12-factor application standards in a cloud-centric environment * Demonstrated success in "shift left" techniques to accelerate value delivery to production environments. * Experience utilizing API gateways and spring cloud features to enhance operational resiliency and deployment flexibility. * Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments * Experience with automated testing tools (i.e. selenium, JMeter) * Experience implementing and managing server and client PKI certificates. * Experience with authoring and maintaining Jenkins pipeline libraries. ## Description Seeking an DevOps Technical Lead to lead a team of DevOps Engineers. This team will develop and maintain automated systems used for development, testing, and deployment of various software components within an SDLC while adhering to current DevOps principals and methodologies and providing support for fast-paced software development teams. The ideal candidate will have implemented CI/CD solutions in an on-premise or private datacenter environment in a shared platform services environment.
