Desired Qualifications * Experience supporting AFLCMC, AFRL, or other Dayton-area DoD organizations on MS&A tasks. * Background in air, space, or multi-domain operations, electronic warfare, or command and control modeling. * Experience with C++ or other compiled languages used to extend or customize AFSIM components. * Familiarity with data visualization and analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Excel, or similar). * Prior experience working as a government contractor delivering technical reports, briefings, and CDRLs. Work Environment and Travel ## Description Seeking an experienced Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) Modeler to provide Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) support to U.S. Department of Defense programs. The selected candidate will design, build, and execute AFSIM-based scenarios and models that assess system performance, CONOPS, and mission outcomes for government stakeholders. What will you do? * Design, develop, and configure AFSIM models, entities, and scenarios to support engagement-, mission-, and campaign-level analyses. * Translate operational concepts, requirements, and threat environments into executable AFSIM representations and analytic runs. * Develop and modify AFSIM behaviors, parameters, and configurations to evaluate system performance and warfighting effectiveness. * Use scripting and AFSIM tools to automate scenario execution, parametric studies, and sensitivity analyses. * Work closely with government analysts, operators, and system engineers to define study objectives, measures of effectiveness, and required outputs. * Analyze simulation outputs, generate visualizations, and prepare briefings and reports that clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. * Support verification and validation of models and scenarios, including documentation of assumptions, limitations, and data sources. * Contribute to technical documentation, user guides, and contract deliverables (CDRLs) in accordance with customer standards.
