You could be analyzing requirements, designing an application, or defining a test specification or supporting configuration management, database development and system monitoring, engaging with internal and external customers and third-party vendors. We have several different types of roles in different teams: * On Wing Technology (Bristol) -developingintuitive, responsive user interfaces for aerospace applications using modern web technologies. You will design and implement user-facing features with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, working closely with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes into high-quality code and ensure designs are technicallyfeasible. The role involves collaborating with back-end developers to integrate front-end components, participatingin agile practices (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), engaging in code reviews and best practices, troubleshootingand resolving issues, and staying current with emerging software development trends and technologies. * Software Engineering ( Cheltenham) - use good engineering practice and AI tools to improve project outcomes across Quality, Delivery, and Cost: You strengthen code quality by following agreed coding standards, actively participating in code reviews, and suggesting maintainability improvements that help reduce long-term cost. You contribute to continuous improvement by engaging in team retrospectives and capturing changes that lower defects and delays, improving both Quality and Delivery. You build systems thinking by joining cross-team projects, learning how upstream anddownstream changes affect Delivery, Quality, and Cost. You explore and share advances in tools, frameworks, and AI for engineering, focusing on options that improve Quality, accelerate Delivery, and reduce Cost. You use AI-assisted tools to generate and refine test ideas and documentation, validatingoutputs to improve Quality while reducing Cost and effort. You also apply AI to summarise technical articles and documentation for the team, helping spread knowledge quickly and efficiently, supporting Quality and Delivery at low Cost. * Software Tools (Cheltenham) -maintains, supports, and improves the engineering toolchains used across NPI projects. You will be supported by experienced engineers and a strong learning and continuous improvement culture as you learn the toolchains, contribute to support and enhancement work, and develop through hands-on projects, mentorship, and training.
