Work with US, EMEA & APJ customers in defining their datacenter cooling facility requirement and incorporating them into design.RequirementsDevelop solution Overview across L10 and L11 validate with EngineeringPropose BOM/ SKUs to meet technical requirements and review with Engineering & shape the offer accordingly.Design Liquid cooling solution to span different geographical areas.DesignAir, Liquid and other cooling solutions based on Datacenter and customer requirements.Essential RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on thermal science, fluid dynamics or heat transfer. 7 years of related experience (can be offset with an advanced degree)Advanced working knowledge of heat transfer and the ability to analyze component /system level problems and apply advanced cooling technologies.Advanced knowledge of thermal testing, flow and thermal measurement techniques, and the use of FEA, CAD & CFD tools to help optimize and guide thermal solutions. Ability to optimize thermal solutions for operating environments, business needs, and product requirements is a core requirement.Must have the ability to collaborate with Dell's technology partners and supply base on cutting edge technology development. Ability to work with ODMs on mechanical, thermal & electrical aspects of system design.Must have the ability to understand competitive and business needs while developing technical solutions.
