## About the Role

We'll be looking for the same technical skills whether mid or senior. Seniors should have more experience in those skills and leadership + mentoring experience.

 * Python
 * Experience developing front-end applications. Experience with Thymeleaf and the GOV.UK Design System is desirable.
 * Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including API versioning. Experience with OpenAPI (Swagger) is desirable.
 * Experience working with relational databases and data access technologies such as SQL, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. Oracle database experience is desirable.
 * Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit 5 and mocking frameworks.
 * Experience writing automated UI regression tests, ideally using Playwright with Java.
 * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and Helm charts.
 * Experience working with AWS and Kubernetes.
 * Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and structured logging using tools such as OpenSearch and Prometheus.
 * Experience applying software design principles and design patterns to produce maintainable, scalable applications.
