**Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Office, Technical Data Management Systems, Test Data - **Published:** September 6, 2026 - **Apply:** https://jobs.military.com/career/329910/operational-test-evaluation-analyst-new-mexico-nm-kirtland-afb ## About the Role * Must be a U.S. citizen.\n * Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.\n * Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least five years of relevant experience; master's degree in a related field with at least three years of relevant experience; PhD or Juris Doctor (JD) in a related field with no required years of relevant experience; or high school diploma or equivalent with at least nine years of relevant experience.\n * Relevant experience performing research, analysis, test and evaluation, data collection, technical assessments, formal reporting, or comparable analytical work.\n * Strong self-motivation and a desire to learn and understand unfamiliar technologies.\n * Ability to become productive quickly and perform effectively with minimal supervision.\n * Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.\n * Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing schedules, and meet short-suspense deadlines.\n * Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand new technologies, resolve complex problems, overcome technical and organizational obstacles, and achieve positive results.\n * Ability to lead a team when required or serve as a hands-on data collector during test events.\n * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\n * Experience working with multilevel classified information systems in a secure office environment.\n, * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n * Experience supporting Department of Defense RDT&E, operational test and evaluation, or special-study activities.\n * Experience developing test methodologies, scenarios, procedures, or data-collection plans.\n * Experience analyzing technical data and developing formal reports, briefings, findings, and recommendations.\n * Experience presenting analytical findings to customers or organizational leadership.\n ## Description * Plan and conduct analytical activities to identify and define threats to the operational missions being assessed.\n * Provide critical information, findings, and recommendations to support senior-leader decision-making.\n * Attend meetings and conduct interviews with customers and other stakeholders to support the development of special-study briefings and final reports.\n * Work independently or as part of a team to develop test methodologies, scenarios, procedures, and data-collection plans that ensure test adequacy.\n * Assist with the preparation and execution of operational test events.\n * Collect, analyze, evaluate, and document test data and results.\n * Prepare recommendations and participate in technical discussions regarding the adequacy, suitability, and performance of technologies and system designs.\n * Produce formal test and special-study reports in accordance with established organizational standards.\n * Assist with developing and delivering preliminary briefings describing special-study findings and test results.\n * Consolidate test results produced by other analysts and engineers and integrate those findings into complete, accurate, and polished reports.\n * Maintain and update reports as additional test results and technical information become available.\n * Conduct periodic research involving current, emerging, or existing technologies relevant to assigned assessments.\n * Lead an assessment team when required or support another team as a test-event data collector.\n * Communicate progress, findings, risks, and recommendations to customers, team members, and organizational leadership.\n * Manage multiple projects, changing schedules, and short-suspense assignments while maintaining the quality and accuracy of deliverables.\n * Perform other duties as assigned.\n ## Related Videos -
