## About the Role

* Strong hands-on coding skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
 * Experience writing automated tests.
 * Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines.
 * Experience designing and delivering high-quality software.
 * Experience working with complex legacy applications, or a willingness to get stuck into them.
 * Strong opinions around how software should be tested and quality assured.
 * A willingness to challenge existing approaches and contribute ideas.
 * The ability to form opinions based on experience and evidence, while remaining open to changing our approach when presented with conflicting data.

## Description

* Lead testing activities within our engineering team.
 * Contribute directly to the software codebase.
 * Design, write and maintain automated tests.
 * Help define and maintain testing standards and approaches.
 * Contribute to code reviews and promote high engineering standards.
 * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
 * Contribute to CI/CD and release processes.
 * Work with complex and sometimes confusing legacy applications.
 * Contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality software.
 * Bring our own ideas and opinions around how software should be tested and how quality can be maintained.
