Preferred Knowledge & Experience: * Previous operations, maintenance, and repair experience in a 24x7 operating environment. * Related mechanical, electrical and or networking technical certifications. Residency Requirements: * Preferably reside within 10-mile radius of the Data Center ## Description To provide installation, maintenance, and operational data center support. May provide limited customer related support services. Duties involve maintaining optimally controlled environments for colocation/server operations. This includes but is not limited to the mechanical and electrical control systems, access control system, video system, cross connects and building safety control systems., * Monitor, analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, and monitoring issues in a timely manner with supervision and guidance. * Coordinate and perform company and customer installations, testing and acceptance. * Conduct daily site walkthroughs including event log entries. * Conduct supervised generator run and load tests, including event log entries. * Responsible for site maintenance and documentation, including but not limited to Method of Procedures (MOPS), testing acceptance, cross connect/port assignments, Building Management System (BMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) system, access control system, internal network and customer cross connect services. * This position will work closely with other employees and Customers. * Will oversee contractor activities to ensure compliance.
