## About the Role

* Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, MQ and VSAM.
 * Experience in Netron Frame technology.
 * Experience in enterprise-level ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Service Manager, etc.) and their operational workflows.
 * Worked on waterfall and agile methodology projects; capable of handling - Incidents, Service Requests and Change Requests simultaneously.
 * Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for complex application and integration.
 * Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Mainframe applications and database queries.
 * Develop technical documentation (Knowledge Base articles, SOPs) for business and support teams
 * Understand both functional and technical requirements and provide implementation/change options aligned with business needs.

 * Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * Experience: Extensive experience in mainframe application development, support and maintenance
 * Technical Skills: Proficiency in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS DC/DB, MQ and VSAM, Netron Frame Technology. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Experience with version control systems and software development tools.
 * Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
