Architectural Expertise: Experience in building scalable services, architectural design, data structures, algorithms, microservice architectures, and APIs. Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, deliver on bold deadlines, and drive closures, and the ability to prioritize and debug production issues. Preferred Qualifications Broad experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and micro-services architectures. Hands-on experience managing cloud provider networking resources programmatically via APIs/ SDKs in at least one major cloud environment (AWS, GCP). Proven experience defining the automation strategy, infrastructure-as-code paradigms (Terraform/OpenTofu), and continuous deployment pipelines (ArgoCD, GitLab CI) for complex cloud environments. Experience working with Linux network virtualization constructs (network namespaces, iptables/nftables, eBPF, routing tables), or developing custom network virtual appliances. Experience in OVS, Container & Kube networking Minimum Qualifications 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 4+ years focused on building highly scalable distributed control planes, cloud orchestration engines or software defined networking (SDN) controllers Deep working knowledge of L3/L4 networking - IPv4/IPv6, dual-stack, Routing, IPAM, NAT, DNS implementations. Strong understanding of traffic steering, policy-based routing, and stateful connection tracking. Strong proficiency in GoLang, C, or Python, with a willingness to work primarily in GoLang. A solid understanding of concurrency patterns and writing high-performance code. Demonstrated leadership in driving cross-functional technical alignment, breaking down complex multi-cloud networking requirements, and fostering a culture of rigorous design and code quality.
