## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience with public sector security and compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and state IT security standards.
 * 5+ years of experience using security documentation, compliance tracking, and workflow management tools such as Azure DevOps or GRC platforms.
 * 5+ years of experience contributing to Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), including documentation and testing.
 * 5+ years of experience assisting with Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
 * Knowledge of Agile SDLC and secure implementation practices.
 * Ability to assess common vulnerabilities including XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, and authentication weaknesses.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

 * Previous government or military experience.
 * Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, information systems, public administration, or related field.

 * Work involves adherence to public sector security and compliance standards.

## Description

The System Analyst 6 role involves supporting security, compliance, risk management, and business continuity initiatives within public sector systems. The analyst will analyze requirements, enhance security controls, support audits, maintain compliance documentation, and ensure secure and reliable service delivery in a hybrid work environment. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage security assessments, disaster recovery, vulnerability management, and governance in alignment with state and public sector standards is essential. Responsibilities:

 * Support security, compliance, risk management, and business continuity initiatives for public sector systems and processes.
 * Analyze requirements and improve security controls.
 * Support audits and maintain compliance documentation.
 * Ensure secure and reliable service delivery in a hybrid work environment.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security assessments and governance processes.
