## About the Role

* Proven experience as a Security Architect or in a similar senior security role.
 * Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST and CIS frameworks.
 * Experience with TOGAF or SABSA.
 * Threat and risk modelling experience.
 * Strong understanding of network security, encryption, authentication and access controls.
 * Experience with security technologies including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS and vulnerability assessment tools.
 * Cloud security experience across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
 * Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD and automated deployment.
 * Experience working with Government or Defence organisations.
 * Knowledge of UK Government security requirements such as Secure by Design and JSP 440.
 * CISSP or equivalent security qualification is desirable.

## Description

You'll be responsible for:

 * Designing and developing secure technical architectures and security patterns.
 * Translating business and security requirements into practical solutions.
 * Leading technical engagements and working with specialist security teams.
 * Advising senior stakeholders and communicating complex security decisions.
 * Conducting security, risk and vulnerability assessments.
 * Developing architectures aligned with security standards and regulatory requirements.
 * Working with vendors and third parties to secure systems and data exchanges.
 * Supporting cloud security, DevSecOps and CI/CD initiatives.
 * Keeping up to date with emerging cyber threats and technologies.
