## About the Role

* Proven experience as a Senior Architect, Lead Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer or equivalent within large-scale enterprise or regulated environments.
 * Strong experience in Private Cloud/Platform Engineering.

Deep expertise in at least two of the following:

 * Virtualisation - VMware or equivalent technologies.
 * Kubernetes & Containers - cluster operations, networking, upgrades, multi-tenancy and policy.
 * Kafka/Event Streaming - architecture, operations, governance, resilience and security.
 * Strong understanding of distributed systems, networking, scalability, performance tuning, fault tolerance and capacity planning.
 * Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
 * Strong knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps practices.
 * Good understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design.
 * Strong focus on security, risk management, production readiness and operational excellence.
