## About the Role

* Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field (others may apply)
 * Experience with Python, PySpark, and/or SQL programming languages
 * Experience analyzing text and/or numeric data and creating data visualizations
 * Independent learner and problem solver with high level attention to detail and accuracy
 * Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
 * Available to work 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
 * Available to work 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

 * Must be able to commute to the work location in Urbandale, IA during the summer

 * Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
 * Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later

What Makes You Stand Out

 * Experience using Databricks, Tableau, or similar platforms and applications
 * Experience using source control tools such as Git for branching, merging, and resolving conflicts
 * Strong people, relationship-building, and communication skills. Ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of teams and leaders

 * Project management experience including plan development, requirements gathering, delivery, and deployment

 * Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis

 * Experience working in an Agile environment

 * Passion for learning new technologies and experimenting responsibly

## Description

* Utilize analytics techniques to clean, preprocess, explore, and analyze data sets and extract actionable insights for advanced automation & sensing projects
 * Automate and optimize repetitive data tasks using scripting or workflow tools such as Databricks and AWS
 * Collaborate in a fun, friendly, and fast-paced team environment across disciplines and with key stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions for the business
 * Present your findings in meetings and translate your results into reports and presentations

 * Ensure strict confidentiality and data protection when handling sensitive information
