In this role, the employee will play a key part in preventing cybercrime by leveraging expertise and analytics to monitor data at all contact points, detect malware and ransomware incidents, and recommend solutions for addressing any vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and certifications, along with extensive knowledge of cybercriminal tactics., * Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI. * Three to five years of experience in cybersecurity at a midsize or large company in our industry * Deep knowledge of IT, including hardware, software, and networks * Meticulous eye for detail and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Strong abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and forensics * Knowledge of security tools like SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions. * Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation frameworks. * In depth knowledge of application security principles, OWASP Top 10, and threat modeling. * Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated reliability tools. * Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK stack. * Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). * Strong understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerant design, and high availability architectures. * Experience in root cause analysis and implementing systemic improvements. Preferred: * Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security, CISSP, CEH, or Certified DevSecOps Professional. * Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). * Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA). * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information systems, information technology, or related field * Ability to work successfully in both individual and team settings * Ability to think like a hacker in order to stay ahead of threats * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
