This role requires a seasoned leader with 20+ years of experience who can navigate the complex, multi-functional landscape spanning SoC, Hardware, Software, Systems teams. You will be instrumental in steering high-quality platform integration efforts from SoC Concept Alignment through productization for Apple's wearables platforms-products that are defining entirely new categories and pushing the boundaries of miniaturization, power efficiency, and user experience.","responsibilities":"As a Platform Integration EPM, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and extensive industry experience to partner with and influence key decision makers across multi-functional teams working on wearables product lines. Drive consistent weekly forums where multi-functional teams will highlight issues/blockers/risks and propose paths of mitigations; work behind/before/after the scenes to ensure issues brought into the forums for discussions are kept consistent, are of high benefit, and getting the attention needed to converge to a solution. Gather information from the various teams involved through the concept stage of the SoCs, understand the unique platform requirements of wearable products-including spatial computing, audio processing, sensor fusion, and ultra-low-power architectures-the architectural trade-offs made, and the gaps that were aligned at the initial definition stage. Work with onboarding teams to ensure the intent at the concept/definition stages propagates seamlessly from SoC concept to Product Architecture to Product Ship. Collaborate closely with Platform/System Architects to understand product/feature choices/trade-offs specific to wearable and spatial computing form factors and manage platform integration efforts/issue-resolution. Mentor and guide junior EPMs, contributing to the growth and development of the broader platform integration team.
