## Description

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Application Engineer to drive technical solutions for Energy & Utilities projects within our Engineering & Design organization. You will lead requirements definition, system architecture, and application configuration for grid, generation, and electrification platforms, partnering with product, project, and customer teams. Responsibilities include translating customer needs into robust designs, performing system studies and simulations, overseeing integration and testing, ensuring safety and compliance standards, mentoring engineers, and supporting proposals to deliver reliable, decarbonized energy solutions worldwide in a collaborative, mission-driven culture., * Lead application engineering for grid, generation, and electrification solutions

 * Translate customer and project requirements into system architectures and designs
 * Configure and validate applications, including integration with control and digital platforms
 * Perform system studies, simulations, and performance analysis
 * Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards
 * Guide testing, commissioning strategies, and technical risk mitigation
 * Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
 * Collaborate cross-functionally with product, project, and customer teams globally
 * Support technical proposals, estimates, and customer presentations
 * Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in energy transition solutions
