## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience OR Master's degree in STEM discipline with 6 years of professional experience OR PhD with 4 years of professional experience
 * Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
 * Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
 * Experience in systems engineering to include architectural studies, technical baseline definition, requirements & interface management, hardware/software integration, and test planning & execution

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience with Payload to Host integration and/or Space Vehicle to Launch Vehicle
 * Current or previous special access
 * Experience with up and down communication within the engineering organization
 * Experience with Mission Operations for spacecraft
 * Experience and/or training in Earned Value Management Systems

## Description

The Host integration lead will be responsible for working with multiple ESPA compatible host vehicles to ensure a safe ride to orbit.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

In this job, you will:

 * Defining and managing the physical and functional interfaces with Northrop Grumman Systems Engineering processes and best practices
 * Managing cross functional engineering deliverables including mission analysis and engineering, thermal control, propulsion, electrical, flight software, fault management, system safety and contamination control
 * Ensuring signature of multi-party ICD
 * Leading trade studies, brief recommendations to program or customer leadership team

This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company.
