## About the Role

* Top Secret Security Clearance
 * 1+ year(s) experience working directly with Federal executive level agencies, Department of Defense, or the DON records functions, directives and instructions
 * Bachelor's Degree in information management related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
 * Ability to collaborate with team members and work independently in support of evaluations (work will be a mix of on-site and telework, with possible travel to evaluations outside of the NCR)
 * Strong communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to interact professionally with external DON commands, prepare clear and persuasive reports, and present findings to senior officials
 * Appetite to develop subject matter expertise in federal records management policies and procedures
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint

## Description

* Support the DRMD Records and Information Management (RIM) Evaluation Program through all stages of the evaluation process
 * Coordinate with DRMD leadership and DON commands to schedule evaluations, conduct interviews and provide evaluation findings
 * Validate and analyze RIM practices, file plans, and supporting documentation received from DON commands, and prepare pre-evaluation assessments
 * Develop familiarity with RIM evaluation procedures and participate in command evaluation interviews
 * Prepare comprehensive written reports documenting evaluation findings, compliance scores, and actionable recommendations
 * Develop full working knowledge of DON/DoD/NARA guidelines and governing documents regarding federal records management and its application to RIM evaluations
 * Edit and revise evaluation procedures, SOP's and documentation for continuous progress improvement
