Experience that would be great to have: * Experience with data center cooling and power distribution systems. * Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. * Experience with DCIM tools. * Experience with network infrastructure and protocols. * Experience in implementing and maintaining security protocols in data centers. ## Description As a Data Center - Critical Infrastructure Technician, you will be integral to ensuring the seamless operation of Fiserv's data center infrastructure. Your role will focus on maintaining high availability and performance of our data centers, which are crucial for supporting our clients' operations. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals dedicated to innovation and operational excellence, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our systems. What you'll do: * Monitor critical Data Center systems by using the automated Building Management System (BMS). * Visual inspections and readings of equipment and systems. * Respond to alarms on critical systems throughout the facility and trouble shoot and take necessary actions to maintain critical Data Center systems. * Contact appropriate vendor and/or contractors to respond. * Perform testing on equipment and systems and complete tasks as part of a preventive maintenance schedule. * Maintain safe work environments and the actions of cleaning contractors. * Clean all critical equipment as needed or as part of preventive maintenance and support maintenance tasks performed by vendors. * Hours can be varied on dayshift or second shift., * All offers of employment are contingent on standard background checks. Fiserv and certain of its affiliated companies are federal, state and/or local government contractors. Should this position support a Federal Government contract, now or in the future, the successful candidate will be subject to a background check conducted by the U.S. Government to determine eligibility and suitability for federal contract employment for public trust or sensitive positions. Positions that support state and/or local contracts also may require additional background checks to determine eligibility and suitability. How you'll work: * This role is on-site position.
