Our partner is looking for a Lead Linux Kernel Engineer - Ubuntu based in Spain. This is a senior technical leadership opportunity focused on shaping the architecture, development, and delivery of a large-scale Linux kernel platform. You will lead critical initiatives spanning performance, security, reliability, packaging, and hardware enablement. The role combines deep kernel engineering expertise with the ability to guide engineers and coordinate complex initiatives across teams. You will work closely with silicon and cloud partners to deliver optimized solutions for demanding platforms and workloads. Your technical leadership will help strengthen kernel quality, address vulnerabilities, and improve performance and correctness. The position is ideal for an experienced systems engineer who enjoys solving low-level problems while influencing technical direction. You will operate in a globally distributed environment with strong emphasis on open-source engineering, autonomy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
