years of experience at tech systems engineer in similar or related positions
Previous experience in IT Operations or similar technology functions
Strong
technology background
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
MS Systems related certifications are
a must
(AZ104, etc.)
Have wide experience on cloud systems base on Azure (IaaS,...).
Have wide experience on AD, Exchange, O365, ADFS, GPO, and SSO systems
Knowledge of system security, Storage, data backup/recovery
Have experience in MS platforms (Win 7/8/10).
Familiar with Network topologies, TCP /IP protocols.
Diagnose and resolve problems quickly
IT Operation framework and Agile ways of working certifications are highly desirable

Collaborates closely with the rest of the Technology, Corporate and Platformteamsto align on and drive the Corporate ITcompute system. The ultimate goal is to build and run a reliable, scalable, and secure set ofcompute capabilitiesin Hotelbeds while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.Accountabilities and responsibilitiesForm a part of the Corporate ITSystemsteam, providing support in day-to-day activities delivering high-quality results and meeting the service targets.Collaborate with theCorporate Systems Leadand other technology platforms teams to align on thecorporate ITroadmap and strategy.Driving the strategiccomputeinitiatives within the technology platform, focusing on on-premises and cloudcompute capabilities, storage, identity and security at systemsmeeting the delivery deadlinesApply best practices, implement standardized and automated processes, and ensure effective provision ofcomputingservices, and related monitoring and troubleshooting.Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolvecomputingservices related issues. Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, driving timely resolutions and ensuring minimal impact to operations.Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to thecomputingservices provided. Evaluate and recommend the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Be a part of aculture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.Participate in the teamknowledge sharing,take advances aboutlearning opportunities, andimpulse your skills in base ofexperimentation and creative problem-solving.Participate in discussions and decision-making processes regarding the overall corporate IT architecture and direction.Position dimensionsCustomer numbers (if applicable):The internal customers of thecomputingservices provided are internal Hotelbeds employees that leverage these capabilities that providecompute capabilities, storage, identity and security at systemsto all of them in our offices and at home (remote users) that provide service to all our customers and suppliers as well as internal employees worldwide.Geographical scope: the role is globally responsible for the HotelbedsSystemsservices in the scope of Corporate IT, providing worldwide service from acomputingperspective. Team is mostly located in Palma de Mallorca, with a hybrid setup across Spain and expanding throughout Europe where possible or needed.Financial target:The Corporate IT budget controls all thecorporate computeassets in a global way.
