Production experience administering and maintaining monitoring or observability platforms, rather than only responding to their alerts.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Zabbix, Nagios/OMD, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Centreon, LogicMonitor or similar.
Experience creating templates, custom checks, alerts, dashboards and integrations.
Understanding of monitoring architecture, agents, collectors, data ingestion and platform dependencies.
Experience integrating monitoring with ITSM or ticketing workflows.
Scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash or Ansible.
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure and core networking concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Professional English and confidence working with international and UK-based teams.
