The primary focus is on custom-built applications (backend and frontend), working closely with development teams and customer stakeholders. Experience with non-functional requirements is expected, but always with a practical, delivery-oriented mindset. Customer / Consultancy focus * Understand business and functional needs of clients and translate them into concrete technical solutions; * Advise customers on solution options and support the translation of needs into realistic implementation approaches; * Contribute to the definition and alignment of solution architectures within the broader context of the customer environment; * Work closely with customer stakeholders, users, and project teams, building trust through clear communication and sound judgement; * Interact with a variety of stakeholders in a public-sector context, including functional leads and project sponsors; * Explain and defend architectural choices in a clear and pragmatic way; * Be able to negotiate trade-offs between scope, cost, quality, and time; * Actively support solution choices that improve business processes, innovation, or efficiency; * Guide customers through change by explaining the impact of architectural decisions; * Maintain a learning mindset and stay up to date with relevant technologies and patterns; * Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and share knowledge with developers and fellow architects; * Coach and support developers or junior architects where relevant; * Be a team player with a collaborative attitude.
