## Description

* Prepares and produces maps and other graphic representations displaying layers and attribute data from database, using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data
 * Maintains data layers, using GIS tools, GPS units, CAD tools and relational databases
 * Incorporates maps, charts, spreadsheet data and text into reports
 * Performs field work to collect and/or validate GIS data using a GPS unit
 * Resolves and troubleshoots GIS-related problems
 * Provides basic GIS software training for internal users
 * Develops production schedules for smaller mapping and analysis projects
 * Communicates with internal and external customers to align project deliverables with business objectives
