## About the Role

* Experience supporting sourcing or tender activity
 * Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
 * Good commercial awareness and analytical ability
 * Excellent attention to detail and organisation
 * Confidence managing multiple priorities and deadlines
 * Good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
 * Exposure to IT, Digital, Professional Services or indirect procurement is desirable
 * CIPS qualified or working towards CIPS is a bonus

This would suit someone who is commercially minded, organised, proactive and keen to develop their procurement career within a broad IT and Digital category environment.

## Description

We're looking for an Assistant Category Manager to join a growing Procurement team, supporting sourcing, supplier management, contracting and commercial activity across IT, Digital and Professional Services.

You'll support the end-to-end Source-to-Contract process, working closely with the Category Manager and stakeholders across IT, Digital, Finance, HR, Legal, Risk and other business functions., * Supporting and running RFIs, RFQs and RFPs

 * Supporting commercial negotiations and contract renewals
 * Maintaining contract and procurement pipelines
 * Analysing pricing, spend, savings and supplier performance
 * Supporting supplier risk, governance and compliance
 * Preparing procurement documentation, evaluation materials and recommendations
 * Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and ways of working

We're looking for someone with experience in procurement, purchasing, supplier management, contract administration or a commercial support role.
