## About the Role

* Experience in a Cyber Security or Security Engineering role.
 * Knowledge of enterprise security technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, EDR, Microsoft Defender, and vulnerability management tools.
 * Experience securing Microsoft Azure environments.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
 * Experience with security incident response and risk management.
 * Industry certifications such as Microsoft SC-200, AZ-500, SC-100, or ISC² SSCP, CCSP, or CISSP.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing IT team, responsible for protecting business systems, infrastructure, and data. This role will support security operations, strengthen cyber resilience, and ensure security best practices are embedded across the organisation., * Monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber security threats and incidents.

 * Manage vulnerability remediation, patching, and endpoint security.
 * Implement and maintain secure cloud, network, and endpoint environments.
 * Support security governance, audits, compliance, and reporting.
 * Contribute to compliance with recognised security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus).
 * Work with internal teams and third-party suppliers to improve security controls.
 * Promote cyber security awareness and continuous improvement across the business.
