## About the Role

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C/C++ real-time embedded systems and hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) experience to support advanced aerospace and defense programs in Grand Prairie, TX.

This role involves developing, testing, and supporting real-time embedded software within complex simulation and hardware environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle in mission-critical systems., * Active Secret Security Clearance

 * Bachelor's degree in:
 * Computer Engineering
 * Computer Science
 * Electrical Engineering
 * Or related technical field
 * Minimum 4+ years of experience in embedded software engineering
 * Strong programming experience with:
 * C
 * C++ (version 11 or higher)
 * Experience with:
 * Linux systems
 * Real-Time Operating Environments
 * Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) systems
 * Real-time embedded systems
 * Simulation systems
 * Ability to work onsite full-time in Grand Prairie, TX

Preferred Qualifications

 * Ada programming experience
 * Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
 * Agile/Scrum development experience
 * Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams
 * Familiarity with:
 * Git
 * GitLab

## Description

* Design, develop, test, and maintain real-time embedded software applications
 * Develop software solutions using C and C++ (C++11 or higher)
 * Support Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) integration and testing activities
 * Work within Linux and Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments
 * Support simulation systems and embedded software validation
 * Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware, software, and test teams
 * Participate in software troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization
 * Contribute to Agile/Scrum development activities
 * Maintain software documentation and support configuration management processes
 * Utilize Git, GitLab, and JIRA for source control and project tracking
