This is a broad senior-level role combining Data Science, Machine Learning, advanced analytics, Generative AI, and data strategy. You will take ownership of initiatives from problem definition and technical approach through implementation, evaluation, and business recommendations. Current projects and initiatives include: * Healthcare AI - Developing Machine Learning models for disease onset prediction and LLM-powered chatbots supporting continuous care, with solutions continuously improved based on user feedback and close collaboration with business teams. * LLM Evaluation & MLOps - Investigating and building evaluation pipelines for different LLM tasks and establishing reliable approaches for evaluating and operating Generative AI solutions. * Data Visualization & Decision Support - Developing analytics, visualization, and reporting solutions to improve access to critical business information and support decision-making. * Data Platform & Governance - Improving data quality, standardizing metrics, strengthening operational processes, and supporting sustainable data management across the organization. * Data Literacy & Utilization - Driving initiatives to improve data literacy and expand effective data utilization across different teams and business areas. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Business, and Data teams across both the Japanese and global organization, while also contributing to technical standards and providing guidance to other Data Scientists.
